I REALLY WASN’T looking forward to doing my second and final longest run before The Brighton Marathon Big Race Day.
Reason being.. my partner in crime (marathon training partner) had informed me the week before that she was going to be in Manchester to see Cirque De Soleil!! Well… faced with another Read more…

FitFoxy Brighton Marathon Training

I’m training so hard for the Brighton Marathon right now, I’m concerned I may be responsible for wearing out the tarmac on my usual routes from Brighton to Ovingdean.
I’m well aware after the harsh winter we had, that the Brighton council needs all the spare tar it can get its mitts on to cover the vast array of pot holes it already has. My First and Probably my Last Brighton Marathon

It is now two weeks since I ran the Brighton Marathon. I always regarded myself as fairly fit as I have been training for the last 19 years in one form or another.

Brighton Marathon

It’s all over, the big day has come and gone and what an amazing day for the first Brighton Marathon. The weather was amazing the crowds were just fantastic giving us all heaps of encouragement. The organisers and the marshalls looked after us all so well keeping us hydrated with plenty of water and Powerade and in some cases handing out vaseline to those who needed it. Read more…

FitFoxy at after the Brighton Marathon

With only 16 days to go to the Brighton Marathon, I am hoping that runners are being sensible enough to taper down and allow their bodies the essential rest and repair they need to enable them to get through the big day.

Specific Brighton Marathon Training

I have been in the fitness industry for 13 years, and over the last few months have paid regular visits to the Official Brighton Marathon website.
I have read several unfortunate comments Read more…
